What YOU can do...
If you are concerned about these proposals and wish to express your views you are entiled to do so.
However, you need to act quickly as the consultation process is only lasting for three months: November 2006 until January 2007.
Prevent the merger of the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service
The consultation period closed at the end of January 2007.
However, a letter was provided as guidance for sending to the Chief Executive of the Isle of Wight Council in protest at the proposal to merge with Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service.
